Meets the fourth Tuesday of each month from 2-4pm at Sternberger Artists’ Center 712 Summit Avenue, Greensboro. Free, well-lit parking in rear parking lot.
Writers, over the age of 50, who wish to participate in a daytime group are invited to join the Senior’s Notebook writers. Our membership includes new writers as well as folks who have had some publications. Writers of all genres are welcome. We will be covering basic writing skills, as well as advanced. At times we will invite writers of a specific genre to join our discussion. Regular critiques will be useful tools for improving our skills. For more information, call June 854-3597 or Emily 621-2077.
If you would like to attend this meeting please check our meetup page to confirm the date, as it is sometimes rescheduled to accommodate the needs of the group: http://www.meetup.com/writers-group-of-the-triad/.
If the date works for you please call or email the facilitator (info above) before arriving to insure that they are meeting. You are welcome to visit one or two times to see if we are a good fit for you, but please understand that in fairness to those who do pay their dues that we will not critique your work unless you are a full member of WGOT. After confirming with the facilitator you can then RSVP at Meetup.
If the group is full please write us at firstname.lastname@example.org to get on a waiting list for that group or to form a new group when 3-5 people are waiting. We want everyone to find their place and get productive with a WGOT circle of writers. If you have any other questions or concerns, we’d love to hear from you, contact the Board at email@example.com.
